FLORES AND TIKAL. 

After a few weeks in El Salvador I went back to Guatemala to visit the old ruins of Tikal to complete my "almost done" ruins list.
Flores was one of the best little town I've been during this 30 months traveling, very chill, great food, lil boat rides and great ambient... I could easy move there for a while.
This was my house for 3.5$ a night, it was a dorm but no one ever came so it was a 4 bed loft I made my own.

This was my view of the town of Flores where I chilled while the couple that came along was "busy"...

 And of course I got to visit Tikal and got my Star Wars picture taken.

CASTILLO DE SAN FELIPE. 

One of the dopest castles I've ever visited, not by the size or kings that have lived inside but by it's location at tropical gulf and all the pirate stories about it.

How a group a fisherman became local heroes winning a gold medal and playing 2 beach football worldcup semifinals its one hell of a story plus watching them beat the shit out of Venezuela was a hell of a time.

Still on"back on track" mode, opening boxes, house cleaning, etc, etc... Its gonna be a long way till we can call this place a chillin crib but so far its looking dope (flicks soon). But today I had one of those goodies boxes like in the old days from my friends in Nike, some kicks and gear to look sharp on this adjusting days.

 On 2003 I discovered my favorite book store in NYC and became friends with them over the years, so I'm very glad to let everyone that wont be able to make it to the show tomorrow night. that Reed Space will be carrying some of the copies of the Ripe booklet I'm doing with Amanda Merten.

Also on our stop at Reed Space with Ivan from Skulls, Nico gave us a lil present from our lonely times... Sometimes I wonder if Jeff Staple will ever stop surprising me with his colabs.

QUETSOL.

One of the good things about traveling is not only to get to meet amazing people but amazing people with amazing projects going on. Getting to Coban its a lil hard on your own, you need a guide and a 4x4 to get through all the crazy up and down roads and secret paths that takes you to one of the most pretty corners of the world, but we got to this awesome tour guides that took us there and showed us what they are up to.

This is the company of my friend Juan and his partner called Quetsol, they just made this dope video explaining how they get to reach with clean energy all the isolated families all over Guatemala.

I was very excited about this project but have been keeping it on the low since the timing was very bad for both of us, since we are both traveling differnet parts of the world right now and will make it pretty much a bunch of hours before the show with the clock all over our heads. But I guess when you and your friends belive in something, everything is possible,

This is one of those shows with a friend, curated by a friend and at a friend's studio, so no doubt all our hearts will be on it,
